How Vitrine works

A quick guide for consumers and retailers. See FAQ →

🛍️

For consumers

1📍

Open the map

Go to vitrineguide.com. Allow location access or type your address. Stores nearby appear as coloured pins - each colour represents a store category.

2🔍

Search for a product

Type any product name (e.g. "Nike Air Max", "Doliprane", "Lait bio") in the top search bar. Stores that carry it are highlighted. Use the category chips to filter by type of store.

3📦

Check the stock

Tap a store pin to open its product list. Green = in stock, amber = low, red = out of stock. Each row shows the source (retailer-confirmed, community sighting, or catalog estimate).

4🔖

Reserve if you want

Tap the 🔖 button next to a product to reserve units before your trip. The retailer confirms and you receive a QR code valid for 2 hours.

5✓

Confirm what you see

When you visit a store, tap ✓ on products you find and ✗ on those that aren't there. This earns you reputation points and helps keep the data fresh.

Tips

  • Allow location for instant nearby results - no address needed.
  • Tap a product's ✓ / ✗ buttons to improve data for everyone.
  • Use the radius slider (bottom-left of map) to widen or narrow your search.
  • Your shopping lists are private. Share mode lets you shop together in real time.
🏪

For retailers

1📝

Register at pro.vitrineguide.com

Create an account with your business email. Enter your business name and SIRET (France) or UEN (Singapore). Verification is instant for France via the official SIRENE API.

2🏪

Claim your store

Search for your store by name or address. Once found, claim it - you become the admin. If your store is missing, you can add it (it will appear as pending until verified).

3📷

Build your product catalog

Go to Inventory → Scan. Use your phone camera or a USB barcode scanner to add products one by one. For each product, set the stock level. Changes appear on the consumer map immediately.

4🏷️

Post a promotion

Go to Promotions → New. Choose a type: product discount (% off a specific item), quartier boost (appears as a nearby deals strip for consumers in your area), or map pin (pulsing ring on your store pin). Promotions auto-expire.

5📱

Scan reservation QR codes

When a customer arrives with a reservation, go to Pro → Scan QR and point the camera at their QR code. The app shows the reservation details. Tap "Confirm pickup" to complete.

6👥

Invite your team

Go to Team → Invite. Add staff by email or share a link. Staff can manage inventory and reservations. Only admins can change settings or invite others.

Before you start

  • You'll need your SIRET number (France) or UEN (Singapore) for verification.
  • Your store must already appear on OpenStreetMap. If not, add it at openstreetmap.org first.
  • The Pro interface works on mobile - no app download required.
